For the fourth year in a row, our team at Sigmon Theatrical was proud to bring another one of our original Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre productions to Mooresville Arts & Events, and audiences proved once again why these productions have become a true community favorite. What began as a playful whodunit has grown into an annual tradition, drawing multiple nights of sold‑out crowds eager to laugh, sleuth, and immerse themselves in a night of mystery and mayhem!

MURDER AT THE MUSEUM is our brand-new show for 2026, taking the audience behind the velvet rope and into a world of priceless artifacts, marble halls, and secrets hidden in the shadows. When a dead body is discovered in the museum, guests become detectives and must uncover clues tucked among the collections. This fully interactive Sigmon Theatrical experience blends elegance, intrigue, and suspense, turning the entire museum into a living mystery where every artifact might hold the key to the truth.

This year’s production brought back everything guests love: quick‑witted characters, twisty clues, and the signature Sigmon Theatrical blend of comedy, suspense, and audience participation. We brought in scenic, sound, and lighting production to transform a massive ballroom into an immersive theatre space.

The response online has been KILLER. One guest shared on Facebook, “These guys never disappoint — we laughed all night and still didn’t guess the killer!” Another shared, “You feel like you’re part of the investigation.” And perhaps the most common sentiment of all: “...Already looking forward to next year.”

What makes these shows so enduring are their ability to reinvent itself while keeping the heart of the experience intact. Each year brings new stories, new characters, new clues, and new surprises, but the spirit remains the same — a joyful, communal night of theatre where every guest becomes part of the story.

We’re grateful to Mooresville Arts & Events for continuing to partner with us and for providing a beautiful, atmospheric home for this production. And to our audiences: thank you for showing up year after year with your curiosity, your enthusiasm, and your willingness to play.

Here’s to four years of mystery, laughter, and unforgettable evenings at the museum — and to many more to come.
